Hi, just found your site, I like it so I've registered.
I have three dogs at the moment I only train one and she's a 3.5 year old rescue ESS bitch, got her as a 6month old bag of bones from a horrid family in wales with twenty kids (all my dogs are sob stories I'm afraid)

She's a fab little worker on a local shoot, we train for obedience (though never competed) and fun (she knows so many tricks she could go busking!) she comes to most my lectures with me and once she's raided everyone's bags and the bin she goes to sleep (and sometimes snores!)

Interested in your sport and wondering how I go about getting involved.
Is anyone going to be at the show on 14th Feb at Southwell Racecourse? Run by Leicester Gundogs I believe.

Me? I'm a Student at university of Lincoln, live in Lincoln, origionally from Coventry and Maddi is my second springer and fifth dog i've trained for rough shooting (I'd define as beating/flushing, picking up of all game including rabbit, pidgeon, pheasant, woodcock, duck and partridge. The other dogs belonged to family and friends and included two irish water spaniels and two old style large steady springers, maddi is the first 'trial style' springer i've had and she's very fast on her feet!

I also mountain bike and compete and Maddi comes with me when we train doing upto 50miles in a weekend when we're at our fittest (equivalent to around 150 road cycle miles)

I'm also planning to have a litter from her in September time with a view to keeping a pup as well as a few people who are on the waiting list.
