Cheshire and Sandringham Finals

Cheshire Show it rained and the sun shone I insulted everyone from Bank Managers to Tax Inspectors, to the general puplic. I had a right go at someone for harsh handling and what do you lot do? you come back for more !!unreal.I closed the booking in tent at 2.30 the queue was that long I did not think we could get through you all, 5.10 we stopped running on Monday brilliant day you lot have surprised the Hell out of me by just growing in numbers and the crowds we now get just watching is for me just awesome.

We are off to Sandringham this weekend for the Lintran Junior Challenge Final with the team from the Sandringham Estate ,Lintran and the Scurrybandit Team,with just a massive helping hand from Living Heritage Mark,Marge and thier team.
On top of the Lintran bit we have the Countryways Multi Scurry Final Junior ,Novice and Open all running for trophies from David Templars Countryways Gundogs Scurrybandits trophies supplied by Duncan Blacklock, rosettes from Myatoc, prizes from Gilbertson and Page ,Petspec and Indigo Collars.

This weekend is the culmination of a lot of miles timing and watching dogs and handlers all over the country and inviting an awful lot of families to come to Sandringham and enjoy our Finals. Thanks to you all,you all deserve to be here but thats not possible and we have tried to be as fair as possible I know that for some families it is just beyond your means to be with us. My wish is that next year we will be putting on different events around the country with finals been held over that weekend on the Sunday with Qualifieing on Saturday and then again on Sunday morning and the finals run Sunday afternoon.
The venues are not yet finalised and the sponsorship is still being discussed but it will happen then you can all compete against the best and see how you fair on our one shot at the title course we set.

Back to this weekend if you are coming to compete be early on Sunday no excuse for being late we will start running as soon as the formallities are done running order is written in stone so DO NOT BE LATE.

Camping ring me you have my number think we need a field of our own.

Lastly I love this coming weekend great venue and some of the nicest people around so I am personally looking forward to great time with all of you so see you soon and Thanks to you all

Thanks for a great weekend up in Durham.
Great venue and a couple of scurry course to test you lot and test you they did.
You lot may pick up lots of Grouse but dummies are not your strong point.In the arena out of the arena trot down the field everywhere it's a good job you lot can laugh at yourselves.
We did have some good dogs and we had some beuatiful contestants I mean handlers.
The weather was not so good Saturday but you lot came out to play on Sunday and we had a magic day I really am looking forward to comeing back next year and sorting you lot out a scurry course to test you .

What an absolute magic weekend great dogs great people and great weather.
Normally we close up shop at 4.30 you lot where still there at 5.00 running ang we had to turn away people or we would never had got finished.We are going to make next year even better we will have a Open course for you lot to run I am planning on using the water and rough ground so as to make Bowood House Game fair a must go to event .
This event as grown year on year we just seem to get more and more people coming along just to have fun we had people around the arena from 9.45 till 5.00 never going away just running and watching kids helping out will the dummy launcher clapping and shouting you lot helped me and the helpers feel that we do a good job my thanks to all of yousee you all next year at Bowood or if you can get down to Powdram Castle or even Maple Durham near Reading even sooner.

First sorry for not keeping everything up to date thought Facebook was the way to go and left others out of the loop so back to basic web site stuff.

First if you are looking for a Puppy give me a call as they are available and out there and if you are looking call me.

Please keep a look out for a Chocalate Cocker bitch up for gabs its possibly stolen and an Orange and white dog both chipped and stolen from Breezybrook gundogs any info ring me or Jacquie Ward.

Great Missenden Show

First time going to a HD Fairs event going down to Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire not far from Thame and Aylesbury.
Hopefully running Bales ,dummy launcher and Sliick Six so plenty to go at for novice and open alike.
Got helpers coming along any one else who feels they could help out for a short stint give a call or email me.

Just got back from one very hot weekend in Peterborough with the show ,Flyball and agility nutcases what a mad bunch
Beth and Harri with Raif ,Oswold and an hayfever struck voice Shroom and his crowd along with Samson and David not sure who runs who.
My thanks to all helpers who suffered the heat and to my little helper who kept my time keeping in order.

CLA Bits and Bobs

If any of you follow Facebook then you will have seen that I have been chatting to the Gamebear about Caravan and water issues.It seems that they have run out of caravan spaces and they seem very unwilling to help any one sort out accommadation elsewhere.
If you have followed me and Scott then you know that we asked if the dogs we take would have access to the lake if the weather was hot so we could cool our dogs off short answer NO.You will be able to give your dogs a drink and if you wish you can put them in a creche no price available at this moment but my bet its expensive and why would you drop your dog off anyway.
I have been watching the prize draw with some dismay as I would have thourght that the CLA could have given away a pair of tickets everyday not just 1 pair per week.
Just hope I dont win the tickets to Argentina as it may cost me about £1500 to get there and back.

Anyway I will be at the fair on Saturday and Sunday so look out for me and I for you thats if they let me in people on gate issued with my photo and instructed to refuse me entry.
To much time on my hands and I do love asking questions of the big boys
